The news this week is that Martha Coakley is running for governor of Massachusetts. She already has an endorsement from EMILY's List.
But, Martha, just remember one thing. If the question occurs to you, “What do you expect me to do, stand outside Fenway Park and ask people to vote for me?“, the answer is “Yes.”
That may have been the most lackluster campaign I’ve ever seen. She needs a far better organization, and way, way, way more face-time with constituents ALL over the state.
