It is a good time to remember Ike’s farewell address warning ,wise words .I am only minimally aware of some of the things he did in office but it is significant that he waited until he was on the way out the door to warn against something he had been part of his entire career.Maybe in the same way some of Bushies are now claiming to have frowned on invading Iraq and been against torture all along.
