Friday night music blogging & "how awesome are you" thread

by: JulieWaters

Fri Mar 05, 2010 at 18:00:00 PM EST

I'm going to start by just saying, some days, I can be kind of awesome:

So... consider this an open "how awesome are you?" thread.  Talk about something cool, great or just plain funny you've done recently.

"Awsome" is the right word here! (4.00 / 2)
Thanks, Julie!

Well... (4.00 / 2)
'Just got home from playing softball in Barre at the "Frozen Fun For Family's" co-ed softball tournament.  Last year we set the world record for most teams in a softball tournament in the snow with like 64 teams; this year there's 76 teams but they didn't spring for the money to get the Guinness people to come.  The thing raises money for a local child fighting cancer.

Oh, and I was 1 for 2 with a run and a good catch in the outfield and our team, the Rabid Hillbilly Snow Monkey's, won 3-0.  Next game is tomorrow at 7:45 in the morning (there are 76 teams to go through a double elimination tournament).

Not that I really think any of that is more awesome than your music Julie, 'cause I don't- but I think it's pretty awesome nonetheless.

Since I assume you're all dying to know, we won this morning, 10-3.  I was 2 for 3 with a run.  Next game is 2:15 this afternoon.

I can type really freaking fast (0.00 / 0)
Does that count? Or does the typing have to be accurate, too?

P.S. nice guitar work!

Ha (4.00 / 1)
People are often amazed at how fast I type.  I always end up explaining to them that one out of four times it's the delete key. :)

I could have played music on a professional level ... (0.00 / 0)

It's over at http://ramabahama.net ... only it's still under construction (but so is the rest of my life)

Great, Julie! (0.00 / 0)
Awesome, indeed.
