Yes, I will enter the race to be Governor of Vermont in 2010.
We will make an official announcement tomorrow, but since the work of building our state's future will be done by people like you, you are really the most important audience.

I just got home from Matt Dunne's announcement in WRJ. There was about 20-25 supporters and about 10-15 reporters there. He talked about issues; health care, more and better jobs, renewable energy, free college tuition in exchange for service, bringing some kind of technology to all Vermonters (he needs to dumb down the language a bit on that one for people like me :-).

But most importantly he put it all in the context that we need to think about how these issues will effect us not only a year or two from now, but much farther into the future as well. That we need to have a long-term plan that will make Vermont a better place to live for ourselves and the next generation. I think because Matt is middle-aged and has young children he has a different perspective and vision for Vermont then the other candidates. He was quite impressive!
